That these tacky polymers are all that is
No more the simple stick
Notorious hazard
Brandished or thrust into the fire
Primordial tool and universal plaything
And instead the edutainmental programming
Streaming from the glowing screen
Problem solving teamwork and multiple choice
The old days were bad
An eight-year-old dead of sepsis from a fishhook
The new days less bad perhaps
Children bubble in their answers
And comply with the dress code
And yet they still as ever delight in light
