He passes through the portal and bam
Four faces
Four mouths four noses four pairs of eyes
Another portal and bam bam
Sixteen faces
With mouths noses and pairs
Although the noses smell little
And the mouths do not speak
What a cacophony if they did
And who wants to talk to a monster
With sixteen faces
Scientists might be interested
But Janus is not interested in them
Not after what he’s seen both before and behind
And that binary loses its force
With the multiplication of viewpoints
With yaw pitch roll sideways and inside out
He keeps passing through portals
Bam bam shebang bam wham
And when he gets to five hundred twelve faces
He stops counting though he keeps portal-passing
And all those thousands of eyes in pairs
Start seeing things
Beyond wonder
Beyond terror
Beyond object’s coherence
Spacetime dying and aborning
