A single star bright Venus maybe
Cheshire crescent promises cool and dry
And from a heap of garden waste
Springs a single daffodil

I hope you’ve been well, Dr. Kelley. I look forward to seeing you soon.
PS – Would you be willing to make a poem for a song?

Hi, Chamaur! I’ve written many instrumental musical pieces–without words. And many poems–without music. And many songs–with both words and music. But I don’t know how lyricists do it, who write words for music to be added afterward. If, however, you were to share a musical composition with me and give me a subject that you think is appropriate, I could add words. You would then judge whether the words work with the music.
